Birthday Cake Protein Pancakes
Super moist and fluffy birthday cake protein pancakes topped with high protein vanilla icing and some birthday cake sprinkles. You won’t even be able to tell this delicious stack is also healthy!
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
These are the fluffiest pancakes you will ever make, and they also provide a substantial amount of protein as well. The combination of the ingredients makes the batter thick so you can spoon it onto the griddle instead of it just spreading out on the griddle and making a big pancake.
Ingredients Needed
¾ Grindstone Blends Mix
1 whole egg
2 scoops of Level-1 Birthday Cake protein powder
¼ cup of water
1 tsp. baking powder
½ cup of zero fat Greek yogurt
½ scoop of Level-1 Vanilla protein powder
Birthday cake sprinkles
Directions for Pancakes:
Step 1: In a bowl, mix together Grindstone Blends Mix, the 2 scoops of Level-1 Birthday Cake protein powder, egg, baking soda, and water until smooth.
Step 2: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat
Step 3: Lightly spray with some extra virgin olive oil on the skillet and scoop one large scoop of batter onto the skillet. The consistency should be thick and not run all over the pan.
Step 4: Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden
Step 5: Once your pancakes are done, let them cool while you make the icing sugar.
Directions for the icing
In a bowl mix the Greek yogurt and Level-1 Vanilla protein powder together until an icing sugar consistency is made. If you want a thicker consistency, add a bit more protein powder
Time to Enjoy!
